Got a favorite pair of jeans or a special dress that you keep in your closet for every occasion? This wine is the equivalent. The GD Vajra Barolo Albe 2021 is an extremely versatile expression of the Nebbiolo grape at an affordable price that offers more value for money than most Barolos available. The bouquet highlights dark fruits, pressed flowers and crushed stone. It has good clarity on broad lines. The mouthfeel is medium to full-bodied, finishing with silky, approachable tannins. The fruit comes from three “cru” vineyards: Coste di Vergne, Fossati and La Volta.

The Vaira family of GD Vajra has acquired a new vineyard. The new plot is located in Bonoretto, in Diano d'Alba, and is planted with Barbera and Riesling.
