Lacrau Garrafeira Tinto 2021 is a top-of-the-range red of exceptional, complex character, made by Secret Spot Wines in the prestigious Douro wine region, Portugal. It's a highly crafted, aged release, positioned above the brand's regular colheita and reserva versions.
A deep, intense ruby, this wine shows a complex, ripe, enveloping aromatic profile from the start. On the nose, fully ripe red and black fruit stand out, with delicate floral notes and subtle spicy nuances, especially clove, in perfect harmony with discreet hints of toasted oak.
On the palate it's medium to full-bodied, broad and seductive, supported by a voluminous texture and particularly silky tannins. Well-integrated acidity gives balance and freshness, leading to a long, persistent finish of great elegance.
