Winemaking: The grapes are hand-picked into small baskets; they originate from a single harvest and the wine production follows the traditional way of producing Port wine. After a partial strip of the grapes, the grapes are trodden by foot in old stone lagares. Fermentation occurs with temperature control, being interrupted by the addition of brandy (fire water). This wine, as it is produced, has great aging potential. Single harvest wine, matured in oak barrels for a minimum period of 7 years. Find the year of bottling on the back label.

Tasting notes: Tawny with orange hues. Well balanced, good acidity and freshness, with aromas of raisins, dried fruits and vanilla. Smooth and silky, with a strong texture and a long finish.

Storage and serving advice: The bottle should be kept upright, at a constant temperature and away from direct sunlight. After opening, consume preferably within 6 to 8 weeks. To be served at a temperature between 14º C and 16º C.

Food Pairing: Can be served with coffee or chocolates. Great served with desserts like creme brulee or fruit tart, and also desserts made with chocolate, dried fruits and caramel.
